For which, contemporary science does not have any useful, efficient and effective method to explain all of the possibilities. In 1 sense, it is the exploration of human evil and its inherent signs. And, in a different sense, crypto-criminology attempts to delve into the mystery of why folks commit crimes. This is an assessment of criminal behaviour to roam the eerie landscape of human deviance which foments criminality. Therefore, “crypto” refers to the hidden, the secret and the unrevealed. Like the term “ancient”, reference is made to the primitive and ancient notions of human character.
In similarly related aspects of study, there is the expression cryptozoology. This often indicates the evaluation of unknown or missing “animal” life forms. From this point, we can extrapolate that “crypto” suggests the hidden, secret and mysterious character of living things.
